Description
Know your nitrate levels before feeding.
Elevated nitrate levels can pose a serious risk to livestock, and they aren’t something you can identify by looking at your hay. The SERVI TECH Nitrate Test Add-On adds nitrate analysis to your feed testing package, helping you make informed decisions about the feed you have available.
WHY ADD NITRATE TESTING?
• Identify a hidden risk: Check the nitrate concentration in your submitted feed sample before deciding how to use it.
• Evaluate suspect forage: Especially useful when testing drought-stressed forage, corn silage, heavily fertilized fields or small grain hay where nitrate accumulation may be a concern.
• Support feeding decisions: Review results with your livestock nutritionist or veterinarian to determine whether restrictions, blending, or alternative feed sources are needed.
WHAT’S INCLUDED
Nitrate analysis added to another feed test. This add-on does not replace a nutritional analysis or screen for every possible feed hazard.
